Self Appraisal – Carry out an appraisal on yourself. Be fully aware of all your strengths and weaknesses.
Appearance – First impressions last so make sure you are presented in a way suitable to the company culture
Portfolio – Along with everything else that will help sell yourself, your portfolio is the most important
During the interview
Body Language – Ensure your body languages matches what you are saying
Be confident – You wouldn’t be sitting there unless you had the necessary skills and qualifications
Be polite and friendly and listen – Nobody likes a know it all!
Be enthusiastic and positive – The prospective employer will need to see that you really want the job
